About The Position

Kiva Sales and Service (KSS), the distribution arm of Kiva Confections, provides sales and service support to Kiva brands and other quality cannabis brands in California. The Order Fulfillment Specialist pulls and prepares inventory to fulfill retail account orders in a fast-paced, growing warehouse environment.

The role includes counting and managing inventory, preparing finished goods for shipment, receiving and logging deliveries, and coordinating the movement of goods through METRC. The specialist also helps keep the warehouse clean and organized and operates warehouse equipment, including a pallet jack and forklift. The position is based in a busy warehouse with frequent interruptions and loud noises. The listed schedule is 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; the posting also notes that business hours vary and some extended and weekend hours may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and safety rules, including equipment operation and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
• Comfort working in environments with variable temperatures and noise levels.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order fulfillment experience is highly preferred.
• Forklift Operator Certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory processes in Encompass to ensure accuracy.
• Pull, pack, and palletize finished goods for shipment to accounts.
• Receive and log incoming items.
• Unload delivery trucks and verify each inbound delivery against the purchase order.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Maintain and operate a pallet jack and forklift.
• Help coordinate and track the movement of goods through METRC.
