About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Specialist I optimizes the daily fulfillment and customer delivery process, with a focus on customer experience. The role schedules outbound shipments, manages internal and external routing activity, and completes the shipping process. It works cross-functionally with transportation counterparts and customer contacts, monitors expected shipments, expedites fulfillment where possible, manages customer expectations when issues arise, and escalates process challenges as appropriate. The position also helps initiate shipping activity across distribution facilities.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• One year of relevant distribution or fulfillment experience using leading technologies.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, changing environment and handle risk and uncertainty.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and teamwork skills, with motivation and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end OTC business processes, including Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Invoice Management, and Inventory Segmentation and Management.
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Initiate scheduling and routing for outbound shipments, working with transportation counterparts and customer contacts.
• Monitor expected outbound shipments using systems and expedite fulfillment where opportunities exist.
• Manage customer expectations when shipment issues arise.
• Ensure scheduled and routed shipments are completed on time to meet customer expectations.
• Escalate process challenges promptly when appropriate.
• Assist with initiating the shipping process across distribution facilities daily.
