About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital order initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld RF scanner, moving orders from the sales floor to the staging area, and securely packaging orders according to standard procedures. Associates help meet order deadlines and productivity requirements, communicate inventory or equipment issues, and coordinate replenishment with club teams. They maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, handle returns and damaged or spoiled goods in accordance with procedures, and may work in other departments as needed. The position requires regular, predictable, full attendance and adherence to club policies, safety standards, and service expectations.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may require assistance.
• Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, position oneself, and scan merchandise.

• Previous order-pulling experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Meet order deadlines, service-level agreements, productivity requirements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Communicate inventory and equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid replenishing from the sales floor.
• Follow operational efficiencies, processes, productivity standards, and established procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code and safety standards.
• Deliver friendly, courteous service, address member concerns, and contribute to a safe and positive member experience.
• Maintain clean and organized order storage bins and uphold club standards.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
