About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital order services, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves picking merchandise from a list using a handheld RF scanner, verifying merchandise and quantities, moving orders to the staging area, and securely packaging orders according to standard procedures. The associate helps meet productivity and service-level expectations, communicates inventory or equipment issues, and works with club teams to replenish merchandise or retrieve it from reserve areas when possible.

The associate maintains a neat, clean, and organized OMNI/SFC work area, follows club policies and procedures, handles returns and damaged or spoiled products according to established procedures, and provides friendly, timely service to members. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Ability to continuously move about on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 30 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted or moved with assistance.

• Previous order-pulling experience.

• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Meet order-picking deadlines, productivity expectations, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow established operating procedures and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Communicate inventory and equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate club team.
• Work with the team to retrieve merchandise from reserve areas when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized OMNI/SFC area; perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them via DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
• Provide friendly, courteous service, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Work with club leadership on individual performance when metrics are not met.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
