About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities for BJ’s Wholesale Club’s digital order fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role includes pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld scanner, moving orders from the sales floor to staging, and securely packaging orders according to standard operating procedures. The associate helps meet productivity and service-level requirements, maintains an organized and clean fulfillment area, and supports members and club teams with a friendly, service-oriented approach.

Requirements

• Previous order-pulling experience is preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience is preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience is preferred.
• Ability to meet OMNI productivity expectations, including service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; lifting and moving objects over 50 pounds may be required with assistance.
• Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use a handheld RF scanner to pick and verify merchandise and update merchandise locations.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and communicate when items need replenishment.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems and report expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders on time and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
• Follow operational processes, productivity standards, and established procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Provide service excellence, address and deescalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work with club leadership on individual performance when metrics are not met.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
