Order Fulfillment Associate Part Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities for BJ’s Wholesale Club’s digital order initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld RF scanner, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, and securely packaging orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. The associate helps meet order deadlines and productivity expectations, communicates inventory or equipment issues and replenishment needs, and processes returns. The role also maintains a clean, organized, and safe OMNI work area and follows club policies, procedures, dress code, and operational standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- Regular, predictable, full attendance.
- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.
- Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

- Previous order-pulling experience.
- Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
- Previous RF scanner experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
- Use a handheld RF scanner to pick orders and verify merchandise.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Report inventory and equipment problems, and communicate when pick-list items are expired or short-dated.
- Communicate replenishment needs to the club team and work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible.
- Complete orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
- Follow operational processes and established procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when metrics are not met.
- Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and handle damaged or spoiled goods according to procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies, procedures, and dress code standards.
- Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and friendly environment and deliver member service consistent with GOLD Member Standards.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
