About The Position

Join an established oral surgery practice serving Birmingham, Pell City, and surrounding communities. The practice provides a broad surgical scope and uses robotic-assisted implant technology and 3D imaging to support treatment planning and precision. The role is open to experienced surgeons and residents nearing completion, with mentorship and peer support available and a clear path to partnership in a majority doctor-owned organization. Care includes dental implants, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, facial pain, and facial injuries and fractures. The surgeon provides IV sedation and general anesthesia for appropriate procedures, supported by trained surgical assistants and nursing staff who monitor patients throughout care. The practice emphasizes clear communication and helping patients feel informed and comfortable.

Requirements

DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
Certificate from an ADA-accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.
Eligible for Alabama dental licensure.

Responsibilities

Treat patients across a broad surgical scope, including dental implants, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, facial pain, and facial injuries and fractures.
Use Yomi robotic assistance and 3D imaging to support implant planning and placement.
Provide IV sedation and general anesthesia for appropriate procedures.
Work with trained surgical assistants and nursing support, with patient monitoring throughout care.
