About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a part-time Optometrist (OD) to provide vision care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Los Angeles, California. The role serves senior populations in a coordinated, community-focused setting, with clinic staff on-site and organized scheduling and patient flow. Optometrists work as an extension of the clinical team within a value-based care model. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing the optometrist to focus on patient care without the overhead or administrative burden of running a practice. The position is an independent contractor (1099) arrangement, scheduled one to two days per week on flexible weekdays, with compensation of $900 per day and no nights or weekends.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active California optometry license.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Comfort practicing in outpatient clinic environments.
