Part-Time Optometrist | Outpatient Clinic Setting
About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide vision care in a structured, community-based outpatient clinic setting serving senior populations in Montrose, Eckert, and Grand Junction, Colorado. The optometrist will work as an extension of the clinical team in coordinated partner clinics, with on-site staff, organized scheduling, and patient flow. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics so the optometrist can focus on patient care. The role emphasizes quality over volume, predictable scheduling, administrative support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery. The schedule is 4–6 visits per month on weekdays, with no nights or weekends. Compensation is $800 per visit. This is an independent contractor (1099) arrangement with no billing or administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
- Active Colorado optometry license.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
- Comfort practicing in outpatient clinic environments.
