About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Mishawaka, Indiana. The role is an extension of the clinical team in a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. Clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow and a team-based care environment. The model is value-based and focused on seniors. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics so the optometrist can focus on delivering vision care.

This is not a high-volume retail model. Optometrists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent CMC within partner locations. The organization emphasizes quality over volume, consistency and predictability, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.

The schedule is 3–4 days per month, on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays based on availability. Typical hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There are no nights or weekends and no billing or administrative responsibilities. Compensation is $1,000 per day. This is an independent contractor (1099) position.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Indiana optometry license.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Comfort practicing in outpatient clinic environments.
