About The Position
Shoptikal LLC d/b/a Fielmann Vision Care is seeking an Optometrist to join its Machesney Park, Illinois practice. The doctor will have autonomy to build the practice and develop meaningful relationships in the community. Fielmann Vision Care provides ancillary support, including screening and patient billing, so doctors can focus on patient care. The role includes comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, refractive services, diagnosing, treating, and managing eye disease, and co-managing cataract and refractive surgery. It is a no-call position with dedicated staff to support patient care. Fielmann Vision Care serves patients according to its CARES approach: connect with each patient, assess their needs, recommend personalized care plans, educate patients, and follow through with consistent follow-up.
Requirements
- OD degree from an ACOE-approved College of Optometry.
- State-licensed Optometrist.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye exams.
- Fit contact lenses.
- Provide refractive services.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage eye disease.
- Co-manage cataract and refractive surgery.
- Build the practice and develop relationships in the community.
- Deliver patient care following the CARES approach: connect, assess, recommend, educate, and see it through.
