About The Position

Pearle Vision in Massachusetts is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial Optometrist interested in employment, professional practice ownership, franchise ownership, or a possible transition among these paths. Options include joining an established practice as an employed doctor focused on patient care; starting as an employed Optometrist with a negotiated opportunity to transition to an independent Sublease Doctor position; transitioning from employed doctor to franchise owner under an appropriately structured ownership arrangement; or exploring direct purchase of the established Pearle Vision franchise with a separately arranged transition of the professional practice.

The opportunity offers work at an established location with an existing patient base and experienced team, rather than building a startup from scratch. The doctor may learn from business owner Carmine Mazzarella, who has more than 40 years of experience serving patients and building optical businesses. Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry qualification, as indicated by the role and description.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and perform eye examinations in the employed Optometrist path.
• Potentially build and operate an independent professional practice as a Sublease Doctor.
• Potentially lead and grow a team of doctors and opticians and focus on business leadership and growth, depending on the ownership path selected.
