About The Position
Physicians Eyecare Group is hiring a Doctor of Optometry to provide patient-centered eye care using innovative technology, both onsite and through its hybrid platform. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing ocular conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans. The optometrist also educates patients on preventative eye care, including annual exams, sun protection, contact lens care, and wearing glasses with a current prescription. The position is part of a team committed to making eye care accessible and easy for patients. Optometrists collaborate with store teams and receive centralized administrative support to help them focus on patient care. Full-time and part-time roles are available across the company's 26 state locations. The posted salary range is up to $200,000+, dependent on location.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
- Licensed to practice in the state where the role is performed; willingness to obtain additional licensure as needed.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams using innovative technology, both onsite and through the hybrid platform.
- Diagnose ocular conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on preventative eye care, including regular annual eye exams, sun protection for eye health, proper contact lens care, and wearing glasses with a current prescription.
- Maintain necessary state licensure and malpractice insurance.
