About The Position
Physicians Eyecare Group is hiring a Doctor of Optometry to provide patient-centered eye care onsite and through its hybrid platform. The role uses innovative technology and centralized support to help make eye care accessible and to reduce administrative work. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across the organization’s 26 state locations. The optometrist conducts comprehensive eye examinations, diagnoses ocular conditions, develops personalized treatment plans, and educates patients about preventative eye care. The position requires maintaining the applicable state license and malpractice insurance. The organization emphasizes clinical excellence, collaboration, and a supportive patient experience.
Requirements
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry (OD) in the state where practicing.
- Open to obtaining additional licensure as needed.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams using innovative technology, onsite and through the hybrid platform.
- Diagnose ocular conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on preventative eye care, including regular annual eye exams, sun protection for eye health, proper contact lens care, and wearing glasses with a current prescription.
- Maintain required state licensure and malpractice insurance.
- Represent the organization’s values within the organization and in the community.
