About The Position

Physicians Eyecare Group is hiring a Doctor of Optometry to provide patient-centered eye care in a hybrid setting, using innovative technology both onsite and through the company’s hybrid platform. The role involves comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, creating personalized treatment plans, and educating patients about preventative eye care. The optometrist must maintain the required state licensure and malpractice insurance. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across the company’s 26 state locations.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
• Licensed to practice in the state where the optometrist will work, and open to obtaining additional licensure as needed.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams using innovative technology, both onsite and through the hybrid platform.
• Diagnose ocular conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on preventative eye care, including annual eye exams, sun protection for eye health, proper contact lens care, and wearing glasses with a current prescription.
• Maintain necessary state licensure and malpractice insurance.
• Represent the company’s values within the organization and in the community.
