About The Position
PDS Optical is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. They have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. PDS Optical is an Equal Opportunity employer. They are seeking an experienced optician to join their team as an optician out of the Dallas, TX VA to help them uphold their mission of providing GREAT Veteran CARE!
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of optician experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Skilled in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear.
- Proficient in using lensometers, pupilometers, and computers.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
Nice To Haves
- ABO Certification is preferred or must be attained within two years.
