About The Position

The Sales Associate attracts and retains patients by delivering an exceptional patient experience, fostering patient retention, and promoting doctor satisfaction. The role involves filling ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fitting and adapting lenses and frames, recommending lenses and coatings, helping patients select frames, taking optical measurements, and providing guidance on Managed Vision Care. The associate also helps ensure the store is effectively merchandised. The position is in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Requirements

Ability to sell using sales skills and be accountable for sales results.
Experience and proven results in a retail or customer service establishment.
Ability to present and implement decisive, creative solutions to opportunities to grow the business.
Ability to communicate enthusiastically and concisely to meet or exceed patient expectations.
Attention to detail and follow-up.
High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable experience typically achieved with 1–2 years in a retail environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with personal computers preferred.

Responsibilities

Use optical prescriptions in conjunction with patients’ visual requirements.
Recommend specific lenses and lens coatings to suit patient needs.
Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with prescriptions and patient needs.
