About The Position
Jennie-O is seeking operators to work in its state-of-the-art turkey processing plant in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. Depending on the position, operators may operate and maintain machinery; package, label, box, cut, or unrack product; ensure production standards are met; finalize products; and prepare them for shipping. The role requires dependable teamwork and following safety rules and good manufacturing practices to help produce safe, wholesome, quality products. Training is provided on equipment and procedures, and advancement opportunities are available, including higher-level operator, lead, supervisory, and management roles.
Requirements
- Be a dependable team player.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Work 8- to 10-hour shifts.
- Perform repetitive motions, including twisting, turning, bending, and reaching.
- Lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, which may include a hair net, hard hat, ear protection, safety glasses, and boots.
- Work as part of a team with large groups of people.
