About The Position

The First Process Transfer Worker supports poultry transfer operations at Jennie-O in Willmar, Minnesota. Duties include serving as a backup poultry transfer worker, lifting and hanging birds, transferring live birds from trucks to a conveyor, and picking feathers. The employer provides training on equipment and procedures. The position is available immediately and starts at $20.35 per hour, with wage increases at six months and one year.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, dust, and odors.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to twist and turn throughout the shift.
Good attendance record.
Must be at least 18 years old.
