About The Position

The Boning Maintenance role performs general maintenance and preventive maintenance on equipment in the assigned area, including welding repairs as assigned. The position assists team members with scheduled work orders and tasks, troubleshoots and maintains industrial equipment, and may participate in the Emergency Response team. It is an hourly, full-time position based in Willmar, Minnesota, working the second shift from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The work week is Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as scheduled.

Requirements

• May be required to lift more than 40 pounds at times.
• General working knowledge of hand tools and power tools and their uses in routine work.
• Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance, including greasing, oiling, minor troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Practice good housekeeping and good manufacturing practices according to company policies.
• Ability to perform basic equipment and building maintenance with minimal direction.
• Ability to identify basic machine parts and maintenance supplies.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance on equipment in the assigned area and welding repairs as assigned.
• Perform other duties assigned by technicians or supervisors.
• Assist team members in completing work orders and tasks according to the maintenance schedule.
• May participate in the Emergency Response team.
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment.
