About The Position

The First Process Transfer Worker supports poultry transfer operations at Jennie-O in Willmar, Minnesota. The role includes serving as a backup poultry transfer worker, lifting and hanging birds, transferring live birds from trucks to a conveyor, and picking feathers. Employees are trained on the equipment and procedures needed for the role. The position is available immediately and starts at $20.35 per hour, with increases at six months and one year.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to work in extreme conditions involving heat, dust, and odors.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to twist and turn throughout the shift.
Good attendance record.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer and must not now or in the future require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
