About The Position

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery Production to join its bakery in Cayce, South Carolina. The role operates and adjusts automated production and packaging equipment, ensuring products consistently meet quality and food safety standards. It supports efficient production flow, equipment reliability, and operational performance across multiple bakery production areas. The schedule is first shift, 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM, with weekend availability required.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Strong communication and observational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Ability to work successfully as part of a high-performing team.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to comply with food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments.
Experience operating automated production or packaging equipment.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of GMP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure product quality and food safety compliance.
Set up, start, stop, and perform equipment changeovers to support production schedules and recipe requirements.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation to support operational efficiency and compliance.
Troubleshoot equipment and product issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with GMP and food safety standards.
Support production and packaging operations across multiple bakery areas based on business needs.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
