About The Position

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Production Operator to join its bakery team in Chaska, Minnesota. The role operates automated production and packaging equipment, ensures food quality standards, and supports the production process. The operator may set up and adjust equipment for production start-ups, changeovers, and line-specific needs, while following production schedules, running orders, recipes, GMPs, and food safety standards. This is a second-shift position requiring weekend availability.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Equipment and product knowledge.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and product issues.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in a fast-paced food production or packaging environment.
Familiarity with continuous improvement systems (AOE, Centerline, CIL).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Leadership or team coordination experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in basic computer systems and production data entry.

Responsibilities

Operate and adjust machinery and equipment to ensure accuracy and proper food specifications.
Assemble, set up, start, and stop equipment for start-ups, changeovers, and line-specific needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
Keep work areas, machinery, and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
Communicate relevant information to supervisors and co-workers.
Fill in for absent employees and operate all equipment on the line as needed.
Ensure continuous compliance with GMPs and food safety standards.
Follow production schedules, running orders, and recipes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
