About The Position

Aspire Bakeries is hiring an Operator 2, Bakery- Production to operate and monitor production and packaging equipment in support of safe, efficient, high-quality food manufacturing at its Chaska, Minnesota bakery. The role supports product quality, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement across the bakery. The posting lists a 2nd shift schedule of 2:45 PM–11:00 PM, with weekend availability required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and noisy manufacturing environments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, GMP requirements, and standard operating instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipment operation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Food manufacturing or food processing experience.
• Experience operating automated production or packaging equipment.
• Experience performing basic equipment troubleshooting and minor mechanical adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated production and packaging equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maintain product quality and food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and sanitation requirements throughout the production process.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and identify equipment issues requiring corrective action.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available when needed to maintain production readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate across production areas to support overall bakery performance and productivity.
