About The Position

Join a dynamic warehouse team as an Operator 2 in Covington, GA. As a crucial member of our operations, you'll play a hands-on role in moving materials, assemblies, and finished products using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. This is a contractor role with consistent weekday hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm), offering a competitive pay rate of $17.50/hr. No formal education required—your experience and skills are what matter.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or related experience
• Valid forklift experience; must complete and attach forklift questionnaire with resume
• Ability to lift/move items over 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• General computer skills for inventory and record-keeping
• Strong communication skills and basic math proficiency
• Willingness to work in variable warehouse conditions (heat/cold, moderate to loud noise)

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
• Experience with additional warehouse equipment (conveyors, cranes)
• Previous work in metrics-driven environments

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to safely transport goods within the warehouse
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement as needed
• Perform basic material handling, logistics, and warehouse organization tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency
• Uphold all safety standards and participate in a metrics-driven environment
• Work in a physically demanding setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and warehouse conditions
