About The Position
Flex is seeking an Operations Training Specialist in Austin, Texas. Reporting to the VP, Operations, this role manages learning programs, coordinates and delivers training to assigned operations client groups, and provides ongoing coaching and feedback so associates have the skills needed for their positions. The specialist delivers orientation and ongoing training, evaluates training effectiveness and learning needs, partners with department leaders to refine curricula, and manages training schedules, materials, certifications, records, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of training experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office experience.
Nice To Haves
- Prior training experience is preferred.
- ERP experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver new-hire orientation and ongoing training programs for employees, operators, and technicians.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and identify skill gaps and future learning needs.
- Partner with department leaders to incorporate operational feedback into training curricula.
- Develop, coordinate, and publish training schedules, logistics, and learning materials.
- Ensure employees are trained, certified, and recertified according to process requirements.
- Maintain compliance with training systems, standards, safety requirements, and certification records.
- Track, monitor, and report training completion, licenses, certifications, renewals, and employee training documentation.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to associates.
