About The Position

Flex is seeking an Operations Training Specialist in Austin, Texas. Reporting to the VP, Operations, this role manages learning programs, coordinates and delivers training to assigned operations client groups, and provides ongoing coaching and feedback so associates have the skills required for their positions. The specialist delivers new-hire and continuing training, evaluates training effectiveness and skill gaps, collaborates with department leaders to incorporate operational feedback into curricula, and manages training schedules, materials, records, and certification processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of training experience.
Manufacturing experience.
Strong Microsoft Office experience.

Nice To Haves

Prior training experience is preferred.
ERP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver new-hire orientation and ongoing training programs for employees, operators, and technicians.
Evaluate training effectiveness and identify skill gaps and future learning needs.
Partner with department leaders to incorporate operational feedback into training curricula.
Develop, coordinate, and publish training schedules, logistics, and learning materials.
Ensure employees are trained, certified, and recertified according to process requirements.
Maintain compliance with training systems, standards, safety requirements, and certification records.
Track, monitor, and report training completion, licenses, certifications, renewals, and employee training documentation.
Manage learning programs and coordinate training delivery for assigned operations client groups.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to associates.
