About The Position
The Summer 2027 Key Technology and Services: Operations Track Internship in Cleveland, OH, is a 10.5-week program designed to provide interns with meaningful work, feedback, coaching, and engaging events. Interns will work on line-of-business specific projects that impact Key's business and strategic pillars, network with teammates across the organization, attend Learning Labs with internal and external speakers, and be assigned a mentor. Key Technology & Services (KTS) is responsible for bringing the future of banking to life, enabling technology needs for business partners and clients through efficient, reliable, and secure technology. KTS plays a significant role in building enduring client relationships through innovative solutions and extraordinary service, and is accountable for critical functions including Business Delivery, Enterprise Technology, Enterprise Data and Information Management, Enterprise Operations, and Enterprise Security. The KTS Operations teams deliver world-class operations solutions and continual process improvements while supporting multiple lines of business, focusing on Business Analysis & Optimization, Continuous Improvement, Reporting, Process Improvement and Mapping, and Project Management.
Requirements
- Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with focused coursework in Business, Operations, Organizational Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Science, System Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related majors.
- Anticipated graduation of May 2028 or December 2027.
- Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA).
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or related business software.
- Possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside KeyBank’s experts within Key Technology & Services (KTS).
- Get hands-on experience with innovative operations teams.
- Work alongside industry experts and professionals on critical projects.
- Gain exposure to KeyBank and Key Technology & Services.
- Participate in on-the-job training, including Excel and PowerPoint, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and VBA.
- Enhance soft skills, problem resolution, and critical thinking.
- Utilize industry-leading software such as Tableau, ServiceNow, Visual Studio, Jira, Automation Anywhere, Jenkins, PowerShell, HTML, C#, Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
- Contribute to Business Analysis & Optimization.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Assist with Reporting tasks.
- Participate in Process Improvement and Mapping.
- Support Project Management activities.
Benefits
- Hourly rate of $25 per hour.
- $2,000.00 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
