About The Position

The 2027 Summer Key Technology & Services: Data Track Internship is a 10-week program designed to provide interns with meaningful work experience in the field of data and analytics within KeyBank's Key Technology & Services (KTS) division. The program offers hands-on experience with innovative operations teams, competitive skill development, valuable networking opportunities, and exposure to executives. Interns will work alongside industry experts on critical projects, participate in training sessions covering technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.) and soft skills (problem resolution, critical thinking), and gain exposure to industry-leading software. Successful completion may lead to consideration for the KTS Rotational Analyst Program after graduation. The Data & Analytics Track focuses on delivering world-class operations solutions and process improvements, with potential placements in Business Analysis & Optimization, Continuous Improvement, Data Analytics and Reporting, Process Improvement, Project Management, and Reporting and Analytics.

Requirements

• Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with focused coursework in Business, Operations, Data Science, System Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics, or related majors.
• Anticipated graduation of May 2028 or December 2027.
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA).
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities.
• Solid analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or related business software.
• Possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

• Use industry leading software (examples include: Tableau, ServiceNow, Visual Studio, Jira, Automation Anywhere, Jenkins, PowerShell, HTML, C#, Python, SQL, JavaScript).
