About The Position

The 2027 Summer Key Technology & Services: Cyber/Information Security Track Internship is a 10.5-week program designed to provide interns with hands-on experience in innovative security teams within KeyBank's Technology & Services (KTS) organization. Interns will work alongside industry experts on critical projects or operational support, gain exposure to KeyBank and KTS, and grow their professional networks. The program offers training in various software and tools, enhances soft skills, and provides opportunities to analyze customer data to identify suspicious activity. Upon successful completion, interns may be considered for placement in the KTOS Rotational Analyst Program after graduation, based on demonstrated skills, performance, career interests, and business demand.

Requirements

Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with focused coursework in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Intelligence Studies, Business, Criminal Justice, Information Systems, IT Management, Software Engineering, Web Development, Computer Programming, Network Engineering, System Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related majors.
Anticipated graduation of May 2028 or December 2027.
Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA).
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities.
Solid analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity and information technology concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn.
