About The Position

Transportation Services is seeking an Operation Supervisor to support Event Operations for Transportation Services. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily and event operations and other field activities within Transportation Services. This position serves as the primary operational decision-maker during assigned shifts and is empowered to resolve customer concerns, manage staffing resources, direct field operations, coordinate parking facilities, and ensure service excellence across parking decks, visitor operations, enforcement activities, and events. The supervisor maintains responsibility for the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of parking and transportation services while exercising independent judgment in operational matters. The role requires strong leadership, customer service expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make timely decisions with minimal management intervention. Supervisors are expected to support organizational goals by developing staff, maintaining operational continuity, enforcing policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. This is a 4 day a week, 10 hour day position, with the primary work days of Sunday through Wednesday, 10 am. to 9 pm, with mandatory overtime for large events.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
