About The Position

The Operations Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing shift operations, including production, planning, and shipping. The role drives team performance toward production and shipping goals while promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety, HSE, quality, and operational standards. The supervisor leads, coaches, and motivates employees; monitors workflow and adjusts staffing, priorities, or processes as needed; and maintains production, inventory, attendance, and shipping records. The position also involves coordinating across production, inventory, and shipping functions, communicating updates and goals through team meetings, and supporting operations across multiple facility areas. Night-shift work is required. Overtime, varying shifts, and occasional travel of less than 10% may be required.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of production operations, inventory control, and shipping workflows.
Ability to operate and work with computer-controlled equipment and manufacturing systems.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Reliability, strong attendance, and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Ability and willingness to work night shift.
Ability and willingness to learn new processes and be cross-trained across multiple functions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading production teams or processes is preferred.
Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily shift operations, including production, planning, and shipping activities.
Drive team performance to meet or exceed production and shipping goals.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and compliance with safety procedures.
Lead, coach, and motivate employees to perform at a high level.
Maintain accurate production, inventory, and shipping records.
Conduct team meetings to communicate updates, policies, and operational goals.
Monitor production workflow and adjust staffing, priorities, and processes in real time to meet operational targets.
Track employee attendance and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policies.
Enforce proper use of PPE and adherence to HSE, quality, and operational standards.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production, inventory, and shipping activities.
Maintain production efficiency and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions to support production activities.
Support operational needs across multiple areas of the facility as required.
Work overtime or varying shifts as needed and travel occasionally (less than 10%).
Perform additional duties as assigned.
