About The Position

The Operations Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When a manager is not onsite, the supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, ensures smooth store operations, and completes opening and closing procedures. The role includes supervising store crews, addressing customer needs, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting merchandise pricing, stocking, displays, signage, and inventory.

Requirements

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
Applicable state-level licensure requirements vary by state.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a retail supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with store management and store crews.
Supervise store crew activities by assigning, directing, and following up on work.
Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
Provide colleagues with personalized customer service feedback and coaching.
Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
Price merchandise and stock shelves.
Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Support planning and execution of off-shelf merchandise displays and their maintenance.
Lead store operations and supervisory staff when a manager is not onsite.
Ensure completion of all opening and closing procedures.
