About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an entry-level Operations Specialist for a contract position with a global financial institution in Des Moines, Iowa, or San Antonio, Texas. The role focuses on ensuring military service members receive benefits for which they are eligible by reviewing and interpreting documentation and assessing eligibility across financial products. The position is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days at home. The contract opportunity is for 12 or more months, and the pay rate is $27.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to learn complex processes quickly.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to move between different screens and documents to find specific data points.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Openness to coaching and receiving feedback.
• Willingness to learn and use new tools such as Copilot.

Nice To Haves

• Prior banking experience.
• Experience as a veteran or with reading military orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake of documentation and read and interpret military orders from all branches.
• Extract relevant data points and check them against the Department of Defense database.
• Make eligibility decisions for service members based on established rules.
• Analyze financial products held by service members and note account opening dates.
• Navigate multiple internal systems to gather necessary information.
