About The Position

The Operations Manager oversees and optimizes laundry operations to support efficient production and distribution. The role manages resources, streamlines workflows, maintains workplace safety, and leads teams in achieving performance targets. It also focuses on continuous improvement, accountability, cost control, and productivity, while ensuring operational activities align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of operations management experience in a commercial laundry, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Proven track record of managing teams and improving operational processes.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with cost control and budget management.
• Skills in operations management, team and people management, employee performance, workplace safety, warehouse and manufacturing operations, workflow and resource optimization, and cost control.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a similar process improvement methodology.
• Experience with advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Demonstrated success leading large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental regulations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate employee performance to build a motivated, high-performing team.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Develop and monitor operational budgets, controlling costs without compromising quality or efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize supply chain processes and improve operational effectiveness.
