About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implementing processes that optimize warehouse operations. The role leads and develops teams, supports a safe and productive work environment, improves operational performance, and contributes to customer satisfaction. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, employs over 50,000 associates, and manages over 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering a team culture of inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on the hiring process for Supervisors, providing input and recommendations on candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt and consistent fulfillment of customer orders.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
