About The Position

As an Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implement processes to optimize warehouse operations. You will lead and develop teams, support a safe and productive work environment, and contribute to the success of DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations. The role is part of an organization with more than 500 facilities, over 50,000 associates, and more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space in North America.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Promote compliance with health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on the hiring process for Supervisors, providing input and recommendations to support candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
Build strong customer partnerships and address concerns or issues to support customer satisfaction.
