This position is contingent on the award of a contract. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing IT operations supporting Federal Government programs. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership, ensure compliance with ITSM best practices, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and maintain high levels of system availability, performance, and customer satisfaction. Experience supporting DoD customers and operating within secure, mission-critical environments is highly desirable.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum requirement).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in IT operations utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices within the Federal Government.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience serving in a senior IT management role supporting Federal Government operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily IT operations in support of Federal Government programs.
  • Implement and enforce ITSM processes and industry best practices.
  • Manage operational performance, staffing, schedules, and resources.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders to ensure mission success.
  • Monitor service delivery, identify operational risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, metrics, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Government policies, security requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to technical and operational personnel.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
