•$67,500 - $105,000•Remote

About The Position

Transcend is hiring a full-time, fully remote Operations Manager based in the United States to join its centralized operations team. Operations Managers are assigned to projects across teams and help ensure clear coordination, steady progress, and high-quality execution. They partner with Portfolio Directors, Project Leads, senior leaders, coaches, school partners, and teammates to develop project plans, make operational decisions, manage logistics, and create thoughtful, human-centered experiences. This role has a particular focus on internal team experiences and organizational culture. The Operations Manager will initially support an operational leader in planning and executing Transcend’s annual, three- to four-day Team Retreat for 130+ teammates, held each June, and will grow into owning the retreat end to end. The role also supports smaller internal events and may lead or support additional operational projects across portfolios. Work includes managing event and conference logistics, communications, schedules, budgets, surveys, meeting operations, and special projects. Events may range from virtual two-hour sessions for small groups to multi-day in-person gatherings of approximately 100 participants. The position is home-based and requires travel, generally two to three trips per month for two to three days, with four to six longer trips per year lasting approximately four to five days. The organization prioritizes candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones, especially the Midwest and East Coast. Transcend is a national nonprofit that works with communities to redesign schools so young people can thrive. The organization reports working with nearly 500 schools and 200 districts serving more than 225,000 students in 35 states.
