About The Position
MV Transportation is seeking an Operations Manager for a proposed business to provide support, leadership, and direction at an assigned operating location. The role supervises paratransit services and helps ensure delivery of annual business plans. The Operations Manager controls the daily operation of the transportation contract in compliance with contracting-agency policies and company procedures.
Requirements
- One to three years of management experience in a similar-sized paratransit environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of contractual obligations.
- Knowledge of company policy.

Responsibilities
- Manage on-time performance and driver availability.
- Manage call center functions.
- Manage customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs.
- Identify, select, train, and mentor location staff.
- Communicate frequently and effectively with location staff and support team members.
- Assist in overseeing safety and training programs, plans, and processes to ensure compliance with company, contract, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to maintaining the division’s safety culture.
- Maintain routine client contact to meet or exceed expectations.
- Assist with periodic departmental audits.
- Review key operational metrics daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Implement, promote, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Participate in location labor and employee relations activities.
