About The Position

The Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) at Restaurant Brands International (RBI) is a general management training program designed for future corporate leaders within the RBI system. Over three years, participants will be immersed in the FIREHOUSE SUBS® restaurant experience, developing core leadership and operational skills. The program focuses on owning results, learning quickly, and making an impact on guest experience, team culture, and restaurant performance. It includes onboarding, a foundational six months in restaurant operations learning every role, a year as a Restaurant General Manager with full responsibility for a restaurant and team, and a year in Above Restaurant Management. Upon completion, graduates will have a deep understanding of operations and leadership, with potential future roles in Field Operations or Restaurant Support Center Operations.

Requirements

  • Graduating with an undergraduate degree between Dec 2026 – June 2027
  • Willingness to work in-restaurant, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Have a Valid United States Driver’s License (or ability to attain one prior to program start)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)

  • From any major — we welcome diverse academic backgrounds; preference will be given to those with a business and/or hospitality major (or similar)
  • Previous experience in restaurants, retail, hotels, or guest-facing industries is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Learn every role in the restaurant, from Team Member through to Assistant Manager.
  • Support and develop new Team Members.
  • Act as Restaurant General Manager, leading a restaurant and a team of 20+ people.
  • Drive restaurant performance by developing and executing improvement plans.
  • Build a high-performing team and create a consistently great guest experience.
  • Strengthen leadership, commercial, and P&L management capabilities.
  • Work as an Above Restaurant Leader, driving operational consistency and strengthening restaurant performance.
  • Gain exposure to strategic operations and Brand leadership.
  • Lead through others and deliver results across the business.
