About The Position

The Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) at Restaurant Brands International (RBI) is a general management training program designed for future corporate leaders within the RBI system. Over three years, participants will gain hands-on operations experience, leadership development, and direct responsibility for a multi-unit P&L. The program immerses individuals in the FIREHOUSE SUBS® restaurant experience, developing core leadership and operational skills to run high-performing teams and grow into future leaders within iconic QSR brands. It focuses on owning results, learning fast, and making an impact on guest experience, team culture, and restaurant performance.

Requirements

  • Graduating with an undergraduate degree between Dec 2026 – June 2027
  • Willingness to work in-restaurant, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Have a Valid United States Driver’s License (or ability to attain one prior to program start)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Nice To Haves

  • From any major — we welcome diverse academic backgrounds; preference will be given to those with a business and/or hospitality major (or similar)
  • Previous experience in restaurants, retail, hotels, or guest-facing industries is a plus
  • Flexibility and openness to relocation opportunities within the continental United States are strongly preferred, as program placements may vary by business need.

Responsibilities

  • Learn every role in the restaurant, from Team Member through to Assistant Manager.
  • Develop a firsthand understanding of how to run a successful restaurant, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and uphold operational standards.
  • Build coaching, problem-solving, and leadership skills by supporting and developing new Team Members.
  • Step into the role of Restaurant General Manager, taking full responsibility for leading a restaurant and a team of 20+ people.
  • Drive restaurant performance by developing and executing improvement plans, building a high-performing team, and creating a consistently great guest experience.
  • Strengthen leadership, commercial, and P&L management capabilities with end-to-end accountability for people, operations, and results.
  • Expand exposure to broader operations and business priorities as an Above Restaurant Leader.
  • Work closely with Restaurant Support Center (RSC) and Operations Services partners to drive operational consistency and strengthen restaurant performance.
  • Gain greater exposure to strategic operations and Brand leadership.
  • Build skills to lead through others and deliver results across the business.
