This Co-Op position is for the Spring Semester with a January 2027 start date. The role involves working with Manufacturing Engineering on daily tasks, including design projects, writing work instructions, quality alerts, change requests, tooling/fixture drawings, and other documentation. The co-op will also work as part of a team to develop and implement solutions to safety, quality, and production challenges. Responsibilities include updating value stream maps, shop floor layouts, performing time studies, participating in kaizen events, assisting with lean initiatives, and documenting workflows and results. The role also involves research, testing, evaluations, process documentation, data analysis, manufacturing audits, and assisting with process improvement projects tied to manufacturing. Projects will be assigned by the Engineering Manager.
