About The Position

The Operations Associate creates an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations functions. This is an early-morning role, working with a team to perform tasks before the store opens. Responsibilities include customer service, pricing and signing, replenishing and restocking merchandise, receiving and unloading deliveries, maintaining backroom standards, supporting omnichannel operations, executing merchandise placement plans, and participating in ongoing learning about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.

The role calls for results-oriented, accountable, and energetic performance: solving problems and making decisions that support sales, profit, and customer service; building positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships; and proactively improving the customer experience. The stated pay range is USD $15.00 to $18.75 per hour.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist customers with questions or requests while completing store operations tasks.
• Execute pricing and signing changes on merchandise throughout the store.
• Replenish and restock merchandise by pulling and preparing items for the sales floor so customers can find the styles and sizes they need.
• Work with coworkers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to omnichannel work, including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving.
• Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans efficiently and accurately while maintaining merchandising standards as goods flow to the sales floor.
• Learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.
• Solve problems and make decisions that support sales, profit, and customer service; complete work efficiently and effectively.
• Provide great customer service, build positive and inclusive relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Proactively look for ways to improve the customer experience and take action with energy and urgency.
