About The Position

The Operations Associate creates an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations functions. This is an early morning position involving teamwork to complete tasks before the store opens. The role includes assisting customers, pricing and signing merchandise, replenishing and restocking products, receiving and unloading merchandise, maintaining backroom standards, supporting omnichannel services, and executing merchandise placement plans. Associates also participate in ongoing learning about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.

The role emphasizes results, ownership, and intensity: solving problems and making smart decisions, delivering great customer service, building positive and respectful relationships, taking accountability, and proactively improving the customer experience.

The stated pay range is USD $15.00–$18.75 per hour. Benefits are offered if eligible.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assistance while working throughout the store.
• Execute merchandise pricing changes and signing across the store.
• Replenish and restock merchandise by pulling and preparing products for the sales floor.
• Work with coworkers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to omnichannel efforts, including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving.
• Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans efficiently and accurately, maintaining merchandising standards as goods flow to the sales floor.
• Learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.
• Solve problems and make decisions that support sales, profit, and customer service; complete work efficiently and effectively.
• Provide great customer service, build positive and inclusive relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Proactively identify ways to improve the customer experience and take appropriate action with energy and urgency.
