About The Position

The Omnichannel Associate contributes to profitable sales growth by carrying out Enterprise Fulfillment and jcp.com activities and strategies, alongside customer service and sales and general store operations. The role includes assisting customers, fulfilling and processing online orders, maintaining the jcp.com stock area, replenishing merchandise, and supporting inventory activities. Associates are expected to meet performance standards related to shrink and safety, omnichannel operations, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of work experience.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Provide customer service, cooperate with others, build positive and respectful relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Solve problems, make sound decisions, execute work effectively and efficiently, and adapt quickly to changing situations with a positive attitude.
• Proactively seek ways to improve the customer experience and take action with energy and urgency.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with finding products, provide outstanding customer service, listen calmly to customer issues and help resolve them, promote company products and services, and partner effectively with team members.
• Monitor the Enterprise Fulfillment systems application, pick merchandise orders, and acknowledge completion in the system.
• Pack orders accurately according to packaging requirements and timelines, and complete Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store activities on time.
• Research jcp.com order shortages and overages, complete shipment check-in, and complete order binning and system reporting.
• Help organize and maintain the jcp.com stock area and process jcp.com order delivery and return transactions on the register.
• Partner with Merchandise Associates/Assistants to replenish the store or personally replenish products from inventory.
• Participate in the annual inventory process.
• Meet established performance standards, including standards related to shrink and safety initiatives, omnichannel operations, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
