About The Position

JCPenney Salon is seeking a hair stylist to provide professional styling services and create a superior client experience. The stylist determines client needs and provides services such as current haircuts, finishing, and chemical services. This role involves building a client base, working collaboratively with salon team members, and participating in a learning environment. Commission is based on credential level, sales, and productivity; the stated service-sales commission range is 50–70%.

Requirements

Maintain a current cosmetology license in the state where applying.
Demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility, people skills, and a passion for the beauty industry.
Be able to build a client base and partner with salon team members.
Demonstrate sound decision-making, accountability, customer-service skills, and the ability to work efficiently.
