About The Position
The Operations Associate supports the store’s daily operations and helps maintain an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities include inventory management, stock replenishment, order fulfillment, operational standards, visual merchandising, promotional setups, and event execution. The role also supports client service and sales goals, promotes an inclusive and collaborative team culture, and follows company policies to help maintain a safe and enjoyable shopping environment. This is a regular, part-time, hourly non-exempt position at Sephora’s Santana Row store in San Jose, California. Part-time schedules are 15–29 hours per week. Associates must meet the required minimum weekly shifts or hours, be available during peak retail operations including nights, weekends, and holidays, and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance. The role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The posted pay range is $22.60–$26.00 per hour; actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, and other legitimate business factors. Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and absorb and communicate product knowledge.
