About The Position

This position is located at the Fort Bliss Centennial Banquet and Conference Center. The role assists management with facility operations in accordance with established procedures. It involves issuing, receiving, and controlling cash receipts and change funds while verifying cashier cash counts. The position also identifies and reports cash shortages or overages and submits daily operational reports. Additionally, it conducts bingo operations and performs counts, inventories, and reconciliations. The incumbent will monitor inventories and place and receive food and beverage orders using Food Track or similar software, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must be available to work a rotating shift schedule including on weekdays and weekends.
  • May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.

  • Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.
  • Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
  • Skill in providing customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
