About The Position

This position is located at JBLM MWR - NAF Support Service Division - Marketing Incentives and Bonuses. Regular Full-Time appointments are guaranteed 40 hours per work week and are eligible for all Army NAF benefits. The duties involve performing clerical and administrative support for the marketing department, including answering phones, operating computers and printers, and delivering supplies. The role also involves operating print shop equipment such as printers, digital duplicators, staplers, folders, cutters, laminators, and poster printers. Additionally, the position requires operating a digital camera and providing duplication and distribution of marketing materials to advertise and promote installation Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs, special events, news programs, and recurring programs and services. This includes posting MWR programs and events through various media such as bulletin boards, flyers, banners, signs, email, facility guides, displays, and promotional calendars. A tracking system for work orders and agreements must be maintained to meet deadlines. The assistant will also support the annual calendar of MWR events and activities as directed.

  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license as required by local/state or military regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provides duplication and distribution of marketing to advertise and promote installation Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) program special events, news programs and recurring programs and services to approved on-post and off-post locations.
  • Posts MWR programs events to the installation population through bulletin boards, flyer, banners and steel-framed signs at roadside, email, installation facility guides, displays, promotional calendars and other media.
  • Maintains a tracking system for work orders and agreements in order to meet deadlines.
  • Assists as directed to support the annual calendar of MWR events and activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
